FREE: Get Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Syndicate for free until Dec. 6. The game normally costs $29.99.

For Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Ubisoft has granted us the treat of some free video games. And one of those games is 2015's sort-of-forgotten Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Set in Victorian-era London, the game revolves around the efforts of twin assassins Jacob and Evie Frye as they try to liberate London from the control of the Templars, who have dominated the city's various sectors through corruption and exploitation. An improvement over its buggy predecessor Unity, Ubisoft's 2015 follow-up is one of the last traditional mainline AC games before the franchise went the RPG route with Origins and Odyssey.

The game features a rich open-world environment, allowing players to explore a detailed recreation of London, engaging in various activities and missions. Key historical figures like Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, and Queen Victoria also appear throughout the story.

You can grab the game for PC for free with the deal valid until Dec. 6. If you're wondering if it's any fun, well in our review from 2015 we described the game that's "hard to love." But what's not to love about free stuff?
