It's drugs, dealers, and disco that fuel the trailer for Netflix's Griselda. The six-episode limited series stars Sofía Vergara as Griselda Blanco, Colombian drug lord of the Medellín cartel known as "The Godmother."

Blanco built her empire in the '70s and '80s through shipping cocaine from Colombia to Miami. Though men dominate the business, Blanco grows her grand plans, issuing threats, blacklisting, and violence.

The series comes from Narcos creators Eric Newman and Andrés Baiz (with Baiz also directing) alongside showrunners Ingrid Escajeda and Doug Miro. If you are familiar with this glamorous queenpin, you know this won't end well, but it looks like a hell of a ride to get there.

How to watch: Griselda is streaming on Netflix Jan. 25.
